Everyone’s favorite Halloween costume, Eleven from Stranger Things, will appear in the second season of the show, TV Line reports. Sources are telling the publication that Millie Bobby Brown will indeed be reprising her role as the Eggo-loving, super-powered youngster. During an appearance at New York Comic Con last month Brown herself all but said she would return, but kept her comments vague enough to keep speculation alive. Netflix meanwhile has stayed mum.
Stranger Things is also adding a bunch of new characters, who will likely encounter monsters and mysterious government forces. Two have been cast: Sadie Sink will play a badass sounding girl named Max, and Dacre Montgomery is taking on the role of her older step-brother, Billy, who has a “a violent and unpredictable nature.” Meanwhile, Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) and Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) will be series regulars. The new batch of episodes—nine in total—will arrive in 2017, and take place in the fall of 1984.
