Anyone dreaming of seeing their childhood idols drunk, surly, and fallen from grace should check out this new video the cast of The Adventures Of Pete And Pete made for Funny Or Die while at SF Sketchfest last month. In the clip—which was written by the show’s creators, Will McRobb and Chris Viscardi—the brothers Pete meet up at a bar to compare their adult lives. After being joined by Rick “Endless Mike” Gomez and interrupted by a fight between Toby “Artie The Strongest Man In The World” Huss and a Greek diner owner played by Paul F. Tompkins, the whole thing dissolves into punchy anarchy over Michael “Big Pete” Maronna’s insistence that he’s better than the rest of the gang. Eventually an old friend comes along to make peace, distribute blue tornado bars, and get back at that “fuckface” Big Pete for saying he was just “an extra in a big plastic head.” Watch and have your childhood thoroughly corrupted.
