Matthew McConaughey might be the odds-on favorite to win the Best Actor Oscar and the star of this year’s most talked about HBO show, but everyone’s got to start somewhere. McConaughey’s first role was as “Larry Dickens,” a murder victim on the Robert Stack series Unsolved Mysteries. The actor is shirtless, of course, but convincing as an ex-Marine and youth counselor who got killed by a pantless man after a bit of lawn mowing in 1978. [via Vulture]
