The Late Show With David Letterman took last week off, so fans hadn’t yet heard Letterman’s thoughts about the death of Robin Williams, his friend for 38 years. But Letterman obliged on last night’s show with a heartbreaking, 10-minute tribute to his pal, who’d appeared almost 50 times on The Late Show. The tribute, which you can watch below, includes stories about how the pair played together at the Comedy Store, the first time Letterman ever saw Williams perform, as well as a funny supercut of Williams’ many Late Show appearances.
