Angel Olsen is back at it again with the music videos. The ethereal artist recently released the third video from her upcoming album My Woman. “Sister” offers a more stripped back look and sound than her previous singles “Intern” and “Shut Up Kiss Me.” The quiet, contemplative video features Olsen wandering around both L.A. and the desert. And this time around she’s ditched the tinsel wig that appeared in her previous two videos in favor of a more natural look.

Directed by Conor Hagen and Olsen herself, the video clocks in at close to nine minutes. “Sister” starts out fairly folksy before building to a more sonically chaotic climax. In other words, it fits with Olsen’s new sound as heard on “Intern” and “Shut Up Kiss Me” while also serving as a throwback to her earlier work. And considering we named Olsen’s Burn Your Fire For No Witness our number one album of the year, we’re not complaining about that at all. My Woman is due out on Jagjaguwar on September 2, and Olsen is also currently on tour to support the album.
