What is it with Brooklyn and funny cops? We’ve already got Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and now Netflix is getting into the game with The Good Cop, a new series starring Tony Danza and Josh Groban that comes from Monk creator Andy Breckman. The show stars Groban as the eponymous cop that is good, with Danza playing his father, a former dirty cop who just got out of prison and wants to reconnect. Naturally, that means going on adventures and solving mysteries together, with Danza trying to get his son to loosen up and Groban trying to get his dad to stop breaking the law. In addition to Danza and Groban, it stars Monica Barbaro, Isiah Whitlock Jr., and Bill Kottkamp. It’ll premiere on Netflix on September 21.
