With Chris Evans and Hugo Weaving already cast as the leads (Captain American and The Red Skull, respectively) in the upcoming Captain America: The First Avenger, Coming Soon now reports that Tommy Lee Jones has also joined the film. His role hasn't been announced yet, but it's rumored he'll play Chester Phillips, the general in charge of the supersoldier program that's central to the superhero's origin.

In addition: According to SuperHeroHype, British actor Dominic Cooper of The Duchess and An Education has been cast as industrialist Howard Stark in the film. Howard—the father of Tony—was played by Mad Men's John Slattery in Iron Man 2, a film that also dropped a cute little Captain America Easter egg.
