The A.V. Club has agreed to sponsor 10 days of programming in’s Summer Drive-In Series. We’re providing a preview of each day’s movie (or movies) here.

Up today: Jason And The Argonauts (1963)

Okay, if you loved yesterday's feature, The Golden Voyage Sinbad, you're going to love today's movie. Jason And The Argonauts is stop-motion genius Ray Harryhausen's masterpiece. Harpies, sword-fighting skeletons, this one has it all, all done with Harryhausen's unmistakable bravado style. And where some Harryhausen movies lumber between big effects scenes, this one glides. We know Crackle has dubbed this stretch of movies "camp classics." But this one's a stone classic, camp or not. Don't miss it.
