Having enjoyed a welcome reception when it re-aired The Walking Dead's pilot episode in black-and-white back in July, AMC is gearing up to do it again, with showrunner Glen Mazzara confirming via his Twitter account that all of seasons one and two will rerun in that format this February. The move to drain all color from the series and present it in stark two-tone is, of course, a nod to Robert Kirkman's original comic book, but it's undeniable that it also lends a sense of prestige to the proceedings. Now you can pretend that the frustratingly talky and inert second season is just a French New Wave film about the ennui of the zombie apocalypse. "Qu'est-ce que c'est, T-Dog?" "Oh hell non." [via Collider]
