This year's Oscars, as usual, offered some puzzling presenter choices–in other words, actors that will likely never make it on that stage to actually, you know, receive an Oscar. This time around, it was a bit jarring to see Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson up there presenting an award (even if it was for Best Visual Effects, and despite the fact that the man can read the heck out of a teleprompter). But Johnson might just surprise the Academy with the depth, sensitivity, and relevance of his next role: the Tooth Fairy. The former wrestler will star in, aptly enough, The Tooth Fairy, which will be directed by Michael Limbeck, the man behind Tim Allen's The Santa Clause franchise. Among Johnson's other upcoming big-screen projects is a remake of the beloved '70s Disney film Escape To Witch Mountain.
