This weekās Billboard chart reveals that once-popular music group The Beatles has had its record for most Hot 100 appearances by a non-solo act surpassed by the karaokemoting cast of Foxās Glee. The showāwhich received a boost thanks to its recent Britney Spears episodeāhad six songs debut on the chart this week, giving it 75 overall to The Beatlesā 71. Elvis Presley still leads with 108, followed by James Brown at 91, and then Glee, but seeing as the show is barely into its second season, thereās definitely the possibility that theyāll eventually take top honors. Of course, itās a lot easier to hit the Top 100 over and over again when all of your songs are just versions of already-established hits, but history cares not for such quibbling details.
