The first Republican debate gets the Bad Lip Reading treatment

Depending on one’s political affiliation, it may not be that hard to find some silly gibberish in a presidential debate. Especially at this early stage, the nominees are all attempting to stand out—usually by being more provocative than their opponents, or at least trying to vie for headline space with Donald Trump. But when the debate is filtered through the Bad Lip Reading lens, even more gobbledygook comes out, and it makes only slightly more sense than the actual talking points being peddled. Plus, it all culminates in a sing-off (clearly, how the actual debates should end). It’s impressive how, in only a couple of lines, BLR is able to create whole personas for the people involved, with Ben Carson being the timid puzzle person, Trump the gross bombast, and Ted Cruz simply talking nonsense.
