The Fault In Our Stars, a lovely little Y.A. movie about (spoiler!) a couple of kids with cancer, is getting its very own Bollywood adaptation. Mumbai-based Fox Star Studios is adapting the movie, and though details are scarce on the cast, score, and just how Gus and Hazel might take part in a big, splashy dance number with that bum leg and oxygen tank, the studio is optimistic for the film’s success. In an interview with The Times Of India, Fox Star Studios’ CEO Vijay Singh said that Fault’s English version has already done about $1 million in business in India after only having been open for a few weeks, and that he thinks John Green’s tale “will have an emotional [connection] with Indian audiences,” all of whom must really, really like bawling.
