According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lost alum Terry O’Quinn is headed back to ABC to star in the network’s legal drama The Adversaries. Written by ER’s David Zabel and directed by Stephen Cragg, the pilot will focus on O’Quinn’s Charlie, the head of law firm Fisher, Fisher, and Herrero who is now facing his own trial. Charlie’s estranged daughter, who is also a federal prosecutor, agrees to lead his defense team, despite feeling “he has some culpability in his son Kyle’s downward struggle and eventual death.” In the process, it’s revealed Charlie has had an affair and financial woes following an embezzlement. This will be O’Quinn’s first show with ABC since the short-lived supernatural drama 666 Park Avenue.
