In the past year or so, Syfy has quietly embraced its old ethos with some sci-fi programming that wasn’t embarrassed to be sci-fi, and along with that came a renewed focus on inclusivity and more progressive characters. Now, the network has announced that it’s going to keep one of the more high-profile shows to come out of that initiative around a bit longer. As reported by Vulture, the Wynonna Earp team confirmed at the show’s Comic-Con panel that they’ve been picked up for a third season. Syfy shared that news on Twitter with a scream-filled video that reflects just how much people love this show:
Season three will presumably premiere in 2018.
