Back in January, SundanceTV announced that its hit drama series Rectify would end after its upcoming fourth season, and now the network has revealed when that final season will premiere: October 26. According to a press release, the final season will be eight-episodes long, and it should explain—once and for all—whether or not Daniel Holden really committed the murder he was in prison for at the beginning of the show. Also, for anyone who wants to catch up on Rectify before the final season or refresh their memory of it, the previous three seasons will all be hitting Netflix on August 1.
SundanceTV has also released a moody trailer for the fourth season of Rectify, running through some of the events of the series and wrapping up (appropriately enough) with Aden Young’s Holden saying that he “didn’t think it would end this way.”
Again, we’ll start to see exactly which way it ends on October 26.
