Singer-songwriter Lee Hazelwood's last album, 2006's Cake Or Death, approached his terminal cancer with a note of acceptance; Hazelwood died Saturday at age 78, leaving behind a strong solo discography, as well as the songs he wrote for others, most successfully Nancy Sinatra (including "These Boots Were Made For Walkin'").
