Marvel Vice-President Peter Cuneo says the fourth installment of the Spider-Man film franchise will probably come out in 2010 or 2011, now that it's been confirmed that Sony has renewed the rights to the property. Spider-Man 4 and Spider-Man 5 might also be shot at the same time–although none of the cast nor director Sam Raimi has signed on yet. Screenwriter James Vanderbilt (of Zodiac as well as the upcoming Wolverine) is apparently still on board, though. This comes on the heels of an update on the Spider-Man musical that's bound for Broadway in '09 or '10–which will be helmed by Tony-winning The Lion King director Julie Taymor, with music by Bono and The Edge.
