Among Hip Hop fans the perpetually slept-on Virginia rapper and Roots affiliate Skillz's yearly wrap-up is a beloved perennial. Though Skillz's recording career seems perpetually stuck in park, despite killer guest turns and essential mixtapes, his yearly Rap Up can be counted on to provide big laughs and homespun insights. This year's edition is no exception. Skillz documents the year's highs and lows though given our current malaise it's pretty much all lows with one big high (here's a hint: it rhymes with "Schmarak Shmobama"). enjoy. Oh and thanks to the good people over at SOHH for bringing this to my attention.
