Building on the pattern established in its last round of North American tour dates, otherworldly Icelandic group Sigur Rós is making the straightforward move of going on another of those “intimate” (read: orchestra-less) tours. Like last year’s dates, the 2017 edition of Sigur Rós’ live show will see the group performing as a trio, without any supporting acts or auxiliary musicians—save for its three-night Los Angeles run, where the group will play accompanied by the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Also like last time, shows will consist of two sets, each spanning the entirety of Sigur Rós’ career. There’s no mention of new music in the press release announcing the tour, but since the group hasn’t put out an album since 2013’s Kveikur, hopefully there will be some on offer. The tour will concentrate mostly on concert halls and theaters with seats, as longtime fans who were in college when Ágætis Byrjun came out presumably prefer.

Tickets for all shows go on sale to the public Friday, December 16th at 10 a.m. local time. Information on fan pre-sales can be found at the Sigur Rós website.
