Showtime has ordered up second seasons of Shameless and Episodes, guaranteeing another 12 episodes to the drama about a working-class family saddled with a drunk William H. Macy, and a yet-to-be-determined number of episodes to the comedy about two British TV writers saddled with Matt LeBlanc. They officially join David Duchovny’s recently renewed Californication as the network’s “lovably irresponsible men” yin to their already-established “women who lie a lot” yang of Nurse Jackie, Weeds, and The Big C.
