Rick And Morty fans who attended Comic-Con or otherwise paid rapt attention to their Twitter feeds in the hope of some news about season three were treated to a bizarre exclusive, but not much else. It’s cool, we get it—the writers are still ironing out the details of season three, which will presumably pick up with Rick winning the intergalactic-prison football game or maybe just escaping from said prison. Speaking of which, Adult Swim released this video of Rick Sanchez in what appears to be pickle or hot dog form, putting together a furry mecha suit.

No one at the panel explained just how Rick ended up sans appendages, but there was plenty of discussion about Rick getting his comeuppance. Creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland also talked about the upcoming changes in Beth and Jerry’s relationship.

We still have no idea when season three will premiere, though Harmon did recently shoot down rumors that the show would return in August. Not much else could be gleaned from the panel, though it does sound like the crew’s figured out how to get out of the corner they seemingly painted themselves into by locking Rick away.
