Carrie Fisher received a lot of attention for being a space princess and a writer, but apparently she had some talent as a lyricist as well. As reported by Stereogum, Sean Lennon just released a demo recording of a song that he and Fisher wrote together “years ago,” and it’s about “staying up too late and hearing the birds sing.” In Fisher’s absence, Lennon enlisted the help of Willow Smith to sing the harmonies, and the end result is quite good.

Lennon shared some thoughts about Fisher alongside the song, with him noting that her lyrics are “marvelous” and that the time the two of them spent together “chatting and pontificating about live” where his “best moments.”
