In the newest of a line of recent high-profile departures for Comedy Central’s flagship fake-news program, Deadline reports that Samantha Bee is leaving The Daily Show so she can host and executive produce a new TBS show that is being described as “as a platform for Bee to apply her smart and satirical point of view to current and relevant issues.”

Not much else is known about Bee’s as-yet-untitled TBS show at this point, like whether it will air Monday-Thursday at 11 p.m. ET/10 p.m. CT or be called Samantha Bee’s Lady Bits. But we do know that Bee’s husband, Jason Jones, also recently left The Daily Show to produce and star in a family sitcom for TBS, a fact that the network seems rather smug about in a press release describing the move. “We’re thrilled to have Sam join Jason at TBS and really make this a family affair. We actually have their kids coming in next week to pitch us animation,” TBS vice president of original programming Brett Weitz jokes. Comedy Central, which recently stated that Bee would remain at The Daily Show after news of Jones’ departure broke last month, presumably isn’t smiling.
