HBO has given a series order to A Black Lady Sketch Show, which is, well, exactly what it sounds like. Created by comedian and writer Robin Thede and produced by Insecure’s Issa Rae, the series will, per Deadline, involve “narrative sketches performed by a core cast of black women, including Thede, as well as celebrity guests.”

The promise of the series’ title will extend to its creative team, with Thede promising that the series will feature black women as writers and directors. Lauren Ashley Smith, who oversaw the writer’s room for BET’s excellent The Rundown with Robin Thede, will do the same here.

A premiere date has yet to be announced.
