After months of innovating ways to sell The King Of Limbs to you in various editions with or without novelty newspapers and bits of miniature artwork, Radiohead is getting back to relative basics with its latest repackaging. It plans to put out a series of limited-edition remixes on 12-inch vinyl this summer, beginning with the first release on July 5, which features Caribou and Jacques Greene reworking “Little By Little” and “Lotus Flower,” respectively. More will follow, all available through select stores and the band’s official website, until the world acquiesces and decides that they love the album, apparently. Otherwise, Radiohead will be forced to disseminate the record as 1,000 separate ringtones meant to be played in synchronicity, or maybe turn it into a West End production.
