Pop culture obsessives writing for the pop culture obsessed.

Back in March, Pinback frontman Rob Crow announced that he was quitting music, explaining that the business was “financially irresponsible to [his] family” and “ultimately humiliating to [his] psyche.” Apparently that decision didn’t take, though, because Crow is now back with a new band, a new album, and a new tour. In other words, it’s literally the opposite of quitting music.

The new band is called Rob Crow’s Gloomy Place, and its first album, You’re Doomed. Be Nice., will be available on March 4—almost a year from when Crow quit music. You can see the album art for You’re Doomed. Be Nice. below as well as the tour dates.
