It looks like Paul McCartney has caught the music bug, and we’re not talking about that Netflix cartoon about the insects who sing Beatles songs. Back in February, we reported that he was recording with none other than Ringo Starr for a new album, and now NME is reporting that McCartney himself also has a new album in the works. We don’t have a lot of concrete information, but the album will be produced by Greg Kurstin, who recently worked with Adele on “Hello” and her album 25. Kurstin took home a bunch of Grammys thanks to that Adele album, winning Producer Of The Year on top of Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Record Of The Year. That means McCartney is making a pretty big play here in terms of trying to make this album into a hit.

We don’t know when it will come out or what it will be called, but this new album will be McCartney’s first since New in 2013.
