The Overlook Film Festival is heading back to New Orleans for more haunted hangs and spooky shenanigans. As with last year, the 2019 edition of the festival will be once again be held in New Orleans; the four-day celebration of all things horror is entering its third year, with another signature immersive experience for attendees. While the film lineup won’t be announced until next spring, the Overlook Film Festival’s founders have revealed the guest artists who will create and design the alternate reality that will unfold over the course of the long weekend.

The experience will be directed by E3W Productions (In Another Room), written by Eva Anderson (You’re The Worst) and Eric Hoff (Amos: A Play With Music), and produced by Mali Elfman (Before I Wake). Tommy Honton (Museum of Selfies) will be this year’s Puzzle Master and Path Designer. The 2019 edition of the Overlook Film Festival will also be the first time that attendees can purchase a ticket exclusively for the immersive experience.

In addition to the immersive experience and film lineup, genre-loving guests can expect to enjoy numerous special events and parties. Last year included a live recording of The Canon podcast with host and journalist Amy Nicholson, a haunted walking tour of New Orleans, Dead Right Horror Trivia, a virtual reality experience directed by Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes), a closing night party sponsored by A24, and much more.

Early bird passes are now on sale at the official Overlook Film Festival website.
