New Kids On The Block, TLC, and Nelly are touring together

The New Kids On The Block have teamed up with Nelly and the Kickstarter-crazy TLC for “The Main Event,” a summer tour the group’s Donnie Wahlberg dubiously claims will be “the party of the year.” Wahlberg told Good Morning America that the stage for the tour is “the most elaborate thing… in the history of the band,” including bar stools for fans, lifts, trap doors, and, presumably, incredibly soft lighting.

Wahlberg also said he’s contributing $10,000 to TLC’s Kickstarter campaign, provided the groups can record a duet. Considering the group is charging Kickstarter donors $7,500 just to take a professional photo with them, that seems like kind of a sweet deal for the reality TV star and pals.
