Otis Milburn will return for a second round of blushing at everything Gillian Anderson says in Netflix’s Sex Education. The streamer has renewed the U.K. dramedy, The Hollywood Reporter says, touting that the 8-episode series has played in more than 40 million households since its debut. As is often the case with Netflix metrics, though, that number remains frustratingly vague—40 million people watched an episode? Finished the series? Let the trailer play in the background? We’ll never know.

Nevertheless, Anderson will return alongside star Asa Butterfield, as will creator and showrunner Laurie Nunn, for eight more episodes that will begin shooting this spring. “The reception to season one has been so exciting,” Nunn said. “Seeing how people across the world have connected to characters that began as ideas in my head is incredible. I’m hugely grateful to every person that has taken the time to watch the series, and I can’t wait to continue this amazing journey.”

If you’ve yet to binge the show, it follows Otis (Butterfield), a socially awkward high school student who starts a “sex therapy clinic” after years of listening to his mother (Anderson), a sex therapist, detail its myriad ins and outs. This gains him a new pal in the salacious Maeve, as well as an almost mythic status among his classmates. That myth, however unfounded, is chronicled in a video touting the renewal, which you can watch below.
