It looks like Grace And Frankie will continue to age gracefully, as Deadline reports that Netflix has just renewed the series for a third season, otherwise known as the twilight year (not really). Although Netflix has yet to issue a press release to that effect, Deadline has learned that pre-production on the third season is underway. The comedy’s Miley Cyrus-endorsed second season, which was greenlit in May, hasn’t even premiered yet, but Thursday’s Golden Globes nominations might have given Netflix a bit of a confidence boost in the show. Lily Tomlin just picked up a Best Actress in a comedy nomination for her portrayal of Frankie Bergstein, one of the series’ women of a certain age entering a new chapter in their lives. Her Grace And Frankie co-star, Jane Fonda, was also nominated for a Golden Globe, but in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in Paolo Sorrentino’s Youth.
