Netflix is set to premiere its first Spanish-language original series in 2015. The 13-episode comedy will take place in the world of professional fĂștbol (go figure). Mexican actor Louis Gerardo MĂ©ndez will star in the currently untitled series, whose story begins when a soccer club owner’s death sparks a family feud among his heirs. The series will be filmed entirely in Mexico and will feature actors from various Latin American countries. Gaz Alazraki is set to direct, with the project reuniting him with MĂ©ndez for the first time since the Mexican blockbuster Nosotros los Nobles.
