Though one of the Wachoswski sisters won’t be involved with it this time around—splitting up the team for the first time ever—Netflix’s Sense8 is still set to return to the streaming service next year for another season of psychically connected adventures filled with sex and violence. Now, Netflix has announced that season two of Sense8 will premiere on Friday, May 5, with a press release explaining that it will be “picking up where season one left off.” It will feature the Sensates coming together “both physically and mentally” as they run from Whispers and “question their very identity.”

If May is too far off for you, though, Netflix has announced that a two-hour Sense8 Christmas special will premiere on December 23. Here’s how the press release describes that:

The journey continues as these eight singular hearts and minds weave in and out of each other’s lives finding deeper connections, learning darker, more desperate secrets about one another, and struggling to identify with more than just oneself.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t tell us anything about the Christmas special beyond the fact that it’s Sense8-related, so you’ll have to go in spoiler-free.
