NBC has just pulled Jerry Bruckheimer’s Chase, the police procedural in which a team of U.S. Marshals rounds up dangerous criminals near the South Texas border. In its place, the network will instead air an expanded two-hour version of Minute To Win It, the variety show where barking buffalo wing Guy Fieri has contestants do wacky tricks for money. Perhaps producers of Chase should consider retooling the show to be about a team of U.S. Marshals who rounds up dangerous criminals, only they do it in super-fast motion to the strains of “Yakety Sax. “
