It's Sunday, so let's let Entertainment Weekly do the heavy lifting; click here for their story. If you don't feel like it, here's the short version: NBC chairman confirmed that Jay Leno is leaving primetime due to affiliates' problem with it. He suggests a new schedule with Leno for 30 minutes at 11:35 (eastern), followed by Conan for an hour, then Fallon for an hour. He doesn't yet know if that's how it'll end up, but that's what he'd like. Scuttlebutt seems to be that this proposed lineup would leave Carson Daly out in the cold, which is sort of where he is anyway.
