The fallout from last month's "Lyin' Ass Bitch" incident involving Michele Bachmann, The Roots, and Late Night With Jimmy Fallon continues according to a profile of ?uestlove in Rolling Stone (which is cited in this New York Post story, since the full profile isn't online). NBC is now screening the band's song choices for guest walk-ons, which will prevent the sort of spur-of-the-moment decisions that led to Bachmann smiling her way through an insulting Fishbone song, but also makes Fallon seem a little less fun. Songs now have to be approved by three NBC executives, who probably have great senses of humor and really good music collections. [via Pitchfork]
