Microsoft kicked off its E3 2018 showcase with the most teasing of teaser trailers for the next game in the Halo series. It’s called Halo Infinite and, well, that’s about all we know about it. It’s in development at Microsoft’s in-house Halo team, 343 Industries, and whenever it comes out, it’ll be hitting both Xbox One and Windows. This debut teaser was less of a trailer and more of a visual demo for the tech behind the game. Called the “Slipspace Engine,” it’s definitely capable of rendering some stunning vistas, which the clip was eager to show off with scenes that make Infinite look like a high-tech return to the big, open forests and snowy mountains of the original Halo.
