Her ABC sitcom Trophy Wife may have been cancelled, but Malin Akerman will take another stab at TV with a role in the pilot for Billions, an upcoming Showtime drama that promises to take “a forensic look at the world of high finance.” As previously reported, Billions will also star Homeland’s Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti. Lewis will play a Bobby “Axe” Axelrod, a brilliant hedge fund manager, while Giamatti will play Chuck “Just Chuck Is Fine” Rhoades, a U.S. Attorney destined to collide with him.

In addition to popping up during the second season of HBO’s The Comeback, Akerman recently finished filming The Final Girls, a horror flick, and The Ticket, about a blind man who regains his sight only to become blinded by his obsession for the superficial. So she’s staying busy. In Billions, she’ll play Lara Axelrod, a former nurse and current wife to Lewis’ hedge fund king. Together, they will presumably lord their genetic perfection over Giamatti until he indicts them for fraud in the season finale.
