Here's some film biography news to get excited about for those already burnt out on rock stars: Joel Eisenberg and Iron Mountain Media have recently picked up the rights to make Ghoulishly Yours, William M. Gaines, a biopic about the man behind EC Comics' Tales From The Crypt and Mad magazine. The story will focus on Gaines "reluctantly leading a group of anti-establishment comics artists" and the various controversies they faced, including Gaines' memorable appearance before a Senate subcommittee on juvenile delinquency. No word yet on casting, although in his later years, Gaines definitely bore a striking resemblance to Bruce Vilanch. (Note to producers: Please do not cast Bruce Vilanch.)
