It’s a big day for fans of dreamy, reverb-and-piano-heavy electronica and music videos with talking dogs: French electronic outfit M83 has just announced its first album in five years, with a corresponding tour and new single debuted to accompany the news. Titled Junk, the new album is due out on April 8, while you can listen to the lead track, β€œDo It, Try It,” right here, right now:

M83β€”fronted, as ever, by synth-pop mastermind Anthony Gonzalezβ€”has spent the years since 2011’s Billboard-charting Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming focusing on side projects and contributions to the soundtracks of films, including The Fault In Our Stars, Divergent, and the Tom Cruise vehicle Oblivion. Apparently they were just saving up their energy, though, because Junk’s release is set to kick off a 57-show international tour for the band, including stops in Hungary, Finland, and the Netherlands, and festival appearances at Coachella, Bonnaroo, and at New York’s Governors Ball.
