After playfully foreshadowing her big news by presenting the world with sitcom sequel-themed foods (like sitcom sequel shrimp, sitcom sequel corn, and sitcom sequel back ribs), Lori Loughlin has given up and just admitted it: She’s going to be on Netflix’s Full House sequel, Fuller House. Loughlin played Aunt Becky (née Danny Tanner’s co-worker Becky) on the original series, a woman who became the envy of every TV viewer in the world when she married Uncle Jesse Katsopolis (née Uncle Jesse Cochran). Loughlin will join returning stars Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Dave Coulier, and John Stamos. The Olsen twins won’t be there, though, as they—inexplicably—have better things to do. Bob Saget, the protagonist of Full House (Kimmy Gibbler was the antagonist), is still in negotiations.
One of the few question marks that still remains, then, is whether or not Alex and Nicky—Jesse and Becky’s sons—will be in the show. Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit, the real-life twins who played them, aren’t actors anymore, but it’s not like it would be hard to recast them. Or they could just never show up, since they probably rank below Comet the dog in terms of which Full House characters are the most important. Hey, speaking of Comet, what’s he been up to lately? Let’s all go Google him and find out.
