This one isn’t a masterpiece of long-form essay writing either, but it does illuminate the origins of Internet classics like “Condescending Wonka” and “Overly Attached Girlfriend” by juxtaposing the meme with the movie/TV show/YouTube video it comes from. Like it or not, this is how cultural historians of the future will remember us. And yes, they did misspell “science.”
