Fox already has a proper Exorcist TV series in the works, but apparently the network is really banking on the whole concept of demonic possession because it’s also developing a comedy based around exorcisms called Amy Damnation. That comes from Variety, which says the project was created by Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt executive producer Allison Silverman and Baskets co-creator Jon Krisel.

Amy Damnation centers around a woman—the eponymous Amy—who is sick of being “a compulsive people-pleaser and all-around doormat.” However, when she learns that she was so difficult as a kid that her parents performed on exorcism on her, she decides to track down the demon who possessed her so it can help give her “the power to take back her life.” In other words, it’s sort of like a reverse-Exorcist, so hopefully Fox decides to put this on the same night as the other show just to confuse everybody.
