With John Wick: Chapter 2 just days away and early reviews already hailing it as another triumph of stylish over-the-top action cinema, the big question is what’s next for Keanu Reeves’ dog-loving super assassin. Well, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Reeves himself gave us something of an answer, saying he’d be happy to don Wick’s impeccably tailored suit for at least one more outing. At this point, he conceded, it’s up to how audiences react to Chapter 2. “If they enjoy what we did—and hopefully they do, fingers-crossed, I really dig it—but if they do enjoy it, then I’ll have the chance to continue the story of the character and the world,” he said.

John Wick director Chad Stahelski previously mentioned Lionsgate had the series’ creative team bouncing around ideas for a Chapter 3, so it seems you can count them in as well. And in addition to that possible threequel, Lionsgate is reportedly interested in bringing a John Wick prequel series to TV, which would give its creators even more room to explore the unique assassin-centric mythology of the films.
