The people of Silicon Valley are still getting to know the Texas expats of Halt And Catch Fire, but the respective braintrusts of Mutiny and MacMillan Utility know one another all too well. That familiarity factors into this exclusive clip from next week’s episode, “Rules Of Honorable Play,” in which Joe MacMillan and John Bosworth don’t play very honorably when their paths cross at a fundraising event. Foregrounded against a very ’80s wet bar (emphasis on the wet) and deploying some very ’80s reference points (“Yeah, I’m a regular Spalding Gray”), the former Cardiff Electric colleagues demonstrate that it’s very, very hard to bury a grudge that involves a jail sentence for embezzlement.
