Jason Isaacs, best known as the star of Showtime’s Brotherhood before committing himself to a lifetime of making small children cry in the street as Harry Potter’s Lucius Malfoy, has taken the lead in NBC’s REM. As previously reported, the pilot is another tale of parallel lives from Lone Star’s Kyle Killen, this time focusing on a cop who awakens from an accident to discover he’s coexisting in two separate realities. It’s being pitched as “Inception-style,” which already seems destined to replace “Lost-like” as the go-to TV namedrop for stuff like this.
