The Austin, Texas-based Mondo Tees—already responsible for scores of limited-edition screenprinted posters, soundtracks, and VHS reissues of classic films—has announced possibly its most ambitious undertaking yet with Mondo 237, a product line based on Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining. As suggested by its name, 237 takes the iconic carpet pattern found in the film’s Overlook Hotel and puts it on sweaters, cardigans, scarves, ski masks, door mats, and area rugs for your wearing and decorating need. Currently available for pre-order and slated for shipment in August, the hideous ’70s color scheme is perfect for autumn. And the sweater/ski mask combo seems best for blending in and avoiding your annoying wife and son, as too much time with either will only drive you mad.
