There are two kinds of people in this world, those who thought the first Transformers film had too many explosions and those who thought it had too much Shia LaBeouf. Both camps will find something to like in this brand new supercut, which compresses every explosion in the 2007 Michael Bay film into a brisk two minutes and neatly skips over all that teen romance stuff. Supercut creator Dylan Browne counts a total of 208 explosions (both large and small) in the 144-minute film.
The video’s been online for a while, but i09 recently calculated the startling fact that the film contains 1.444 explosions per minute. However, considering the film also (probably) averages 5.687 terrible one-liners per minute, that explosion count doesn’t actually look so bad.
