Last week, Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National announced a ridiculously huge Grateful Dead tribute album called Day Of The Dead. “Album” isn’t really the right word, though, because Day Of The Dead actually comes on five CDs that are divided into three volumes, and it features 59 Grateful Dead covers performed by musical acts like Wilco, Courtney Barnett, The Flaming Lips, Mumford & Sons, and—of course—The National itself.

Now, to tease all of the chill vibes that Day Of The Dead will produce when it’s released on March 20, you can preview five of those 59 tracks below. Granted, five songs is barely enough to give you the taste of a proper Grateful Dead jam session, but you could always just play these songs on a loop for a few hours and get a similar effect.

You can pre-order Day Of The Dead at this link or on the digital music service of your choice.
